365 days of makeup

Ever wondered what a years worth of make up looked like? Lernert & Sander have made this video ironically titled 'Natural Beauty'. The model was sat for 9 hours while the make up artists went through 7 bottles of foundation, 2 bottles of eye make up, 2 lip pens and 2 bottles of blush.

I love the video, the way it starts so stripped back and bare, then slowly you can see the layers and layers of make up pile up on her skin. It's almost unsettling to see all that foundation on one face.

These limited edition Iris van Herpen X United Nude boots are devine. The construction of the shoe is so complicated and precise, that each boot is 100% handmade - and there has been only 100 made. If you have a spare $995 in your back pocket I'd say grab a pair. The United Nude and Iris van Herpen collaboration will undoubtedly go well, their last collection together was featured in a Mario Testino shoot for Vogue magazine featuring the gorgeous Lara Stone, and many a celeb were spotted donning the amazing creations.

If I wasn't a poor student I would most definitely invest in these limited edition beauties!

i have a serious obsession with jewellery. so big infact that i had to buy an organiser for it all to take to university. i'm currently rooting through ebay to find another one though, as i've bought loads more and started to add makeup and nail vanishs to the organiser which makes it a lot less, well organised. seriously though definitely buy one of these, i think it was only around £12 and it has saved me losing things!

I never usually buy silver jewellery, i don't know why i just always was attracted to gold. however recently i've become obsessed with silver rings and necklaces. I particularly love the chunky silver rings and knuckledusters which i've seen loads of people wearing of late! when i saw this ring in miss selfridge i had to get it! i love the detailing and the turquoise.

this gorgeous rosary bead necklace with detailed cross is from a new american website which I found and they deliver to the uk which is a bonus! unfortunately I had to pay extra as they taxed all the clothes I got (boo) but it is most definitely worth it. other items that i got from the site shall be up soon!

I'm gaga for tennis

Wimbledon is currently the only activity I'm watching, so the BBC channel is fixed on my tv set for the next few weeks. While watching, I saw American Bethanie Mattek-Sands start her match in a rather untraditional outfit. The outfit featured tassels, white tennis balls cut in half, pop socks and tribal paint on her face. The player commissioned the jacket from non other than one of Gaga's fashion dressers, British designer Alex Noble. Don't get me wrong I love a bit of tennis fashion (Serena and Venus for example) but I think she's maybe trying a little too hard to get in to the tabloids.

Unfortunately for her it was a major fashion fail, and a tennis fail..she lost the match. Shame.

Lucy in disguise

Lilly Allen and sister Sarah Owen have launched their own vintage inspired collection for Lucy in Disguise, which debuted at Harvey Nichols. I love love love the black floor sweeping dress, accented with flowers. And the mint green mini dress is gorgeous, the embellishment gives it that vintage flapper girl look which is very cute. The trouser playsuit is really retro and glam. I really want to find a trouser playsuit for summer, I saw one in H&M recently but when I tried it on I looked like I belonged in a prison. I'll keep searching.
