So, I made this blog a while back and I abandoned it :( sorry! Although, to my defense I have been busy of late...
I suppose the most exciting news is that I got my A level results in august which was a very stressful time for me. I tend to over analyse things too much and stress too easily about things, even when I don't even think I'm stressing I am. I had to go the doctors for stress when I was 11 years old. 11! I had just done my 11+ test to get in to a Grammar School and I thought I did really bad because I missed 20 questions out. The doctor, although I question how qualified he actually was, told me that all girls my age lose their hair...which was later discredited by a lovely, more qualified doctor, thankfully. Anyway, I passed the 11+. What was I saying? Oh yes I got in to my university! wheyyyyy. The feeling of dread and nerves I had were overwhelming, but I was rather pleased with my AABCC grades :) As I said I over analyse things too much so even though I was happy with my grades I started adding up the UMS scores and was soon unhappy to learn I was only 1 mark off an A in my religious studies. As my nan would say..'You'd think they'd just give you the mark, being so close like that...' I try to explain it doesn't exactly work like that...
Moving on to more exciting news is that I have now become an auntie to a gorgeous little girl called Maisie Leigh. Even more exciting was that I passed my driving theory on the same day!! I couldn't have wished for a better way to spend my last few months at home.
plus it was my nan's birthday today, so to celebrate the family went for dinner in New Brighton. It was fun, although there was a massive table full of people next to us with kids screaming and crying and parents swearing and screaming. They only left the poor waitress 5p tip and there was about 20 of them. How mean! My mum and nan felt compelled to show their generosity so gave her £10, she was made up! I took a picture of the gorgeous sunset at around 8pm...
So Happy (she says 21st..) Birthday Nan, hope you had a fabulous day. I will end with a photo collage thingy I did for my art A level. A photograph of my nan and grandad with old postcards overlayed :) They are both gorgeous. <3
