Lacoste's Spring 2011 advertising campaign is a little different this year, with the brand opting for a new tag line for their brand, 'unconventional chic'. This comes as quite the change as they have been using the same campaign for 10 seasons..maybe the change will be for the better? The ads feature models wearing the signature Lacoste polo over formal suits and evening wear. I think the images are quite striking, the contrast between the evening dress and the polo shirt works well, and the message they are trying to convey is cleverly done in one image and the use of the tag line.

The Lacoste CEO has said..
"The previous ads were very product-focused and we felt we needed a campaign that was an affirmation of the brand statement as a whole... We're showing that you can be chic in a different way, not just when you are dressed up for a party or for the office."

I like how they've spiced things up a little!
